Who We Are

 

 

We should say who we are. Adventure Ashram is a charity set up by a group of Adventurers. We began our work over 10 years ago to give back to India, the country that had captured our hearts as we rode our motorbikes and drove our cars through its beautiful landscapes and volunteered in its communities. Wonderful people made us welcome, told us their life stories, described their joys and challenges.

 

As we travelled, we discovered small, grass-roots charities working hard to improve children’s health, education and safety.  We committed to working with them to help them realise their visions. It involved us in raising awareness, campaigning and fundraising. So far, we’ve raised over one million pounds to support survivors of trafficking and some of India's most vulnerable children.
