An update from Odanadi, India.

Thank you to everyone who supported our recent emergency appeal for Odanadi in response to Covid-19. The funds raised have helped Odanadi respond to the increasing number of women and children in need of safe shelter and provided protective equipment and medicines to keep the residents at the boys’ and girls’ homes safe. The extra funding has helped Odanadi provide shelter for 13 more women and children fleeing domestic violence as well as covering the running costs of the isolation ward for newly admitted residents and medical treatment for residents infected with the virus.

We are pleased to let you know that all residents are keeping healthy and safe and there have been no new cases of Covid-19. The residents are taking part in activities and games whilst the schools and vocational training centres are closed. We will let you have further updates soon!
