Supporting vulnerable children during lockdown

Our Indian charity partner, Grace Charitable Trust, informed us of the difficulty experienced by the families living in and around Mudumalai Tiger Reserve caused by the pandemic. Having suddenly lost their livelihoods as a result of the national lockdown, many families have struggled to afford basic food rations. In response we have funded a two-week food distribution program to deliver nutritional foods for the children living around the reserve.

We are delighted to inform our supporters that the project commenced yesterday and the food packs including a variety of food items, fresh fruits, drinks, and face masks, will be delivered to 300 children over the coming days.

We look forward to updating you on the project’s progress soon!
